About
Hi, I’m Melissa. My friends call me Mel. I like pretty cards, crystals, scarves and earrings. Like, huge earrings. HUGE.
It makes sense then I became a psychic.
I create oracles, teaches lessons, and write about the practical noetic applications of divination. I’m fascinated by a spiritual lifestyle that is defined by ease and filled with joy. I love art, history and small shiny objects. My specialty is Lenormand cartomancy and tarot. I also enjoy a good pendulum, reading coffee grounds (dark roast, sometimes hazelnut), palmistry and the I-Ching. The universe is totally funky and I am all kinds of tapped into that.
A few things I’ve done:
- Published two decks of cards, the Melissa Lenormand and the Postmark Lenormand (reviews here and here).
- Started a few other decks (I have two or three half-finished now
). Artwork from one of my unfinished projects was featured in the Tarot Lovers Calendar for 2011. - Was a Soulcare Provider for the online spiritual community, Flock.
- Was a contributor to the eBook, Regiving.
- Presented a study group on Lenormand cartomancy at Readers Studio 2011.
- Wrote a monthly cartoscope column for the super-amazing inspirational magazine, Wild Sister.
Things I now do:
- Blog, generously. I hope.
- Offer workshops on different forms of divination, including Lenormand cartomancy and tarot.
- Tutor new and experienced intuitives alike in fortune telling theory and professionalism.
- Read cards and tell fortunes for folks all over the world.
Oh, you want the blurby-blurb version?
What others have said about me (my cards and the tarot readings I’ve done):
You are a natural teacher. I’m not sure if that’s what you do as a “day job” but I hope you will continue to teach classes online. I will keep an eye out for what you are offering next.
